The reduction of 9% included the contribution from the installation of a carbon-neutral heating system at Highgrove. 9m2 of Viessmann Vitosol 200 vacuum-tube solar collectors supplemented the woodchip and biomass burning boiler - British made Talbotts boiler.
The whole of the installation has an integrated control system, which was configured by TESA (Western) Ltd; this includes energy and carbon metering.
